Well you Microsofties may have access to something us mere mortals can only dream of.... Isn't Office 2007 the current flavour? XP in this VM is faster/more stable than Vista running on the metal! I forgot how fast files could copy over a LAN!
No comment :-) Yea O2007 is the latest that was a cheap shot anyways. Which virtualization solution are you running in the picture? Does it do GPU emulation?
It does provide pretty good graphics performance - I can play HD video in the VM full screen with only a few dropped frames (SD is fine) and Halo runs as playably as on the metal. I think that (like the newest version of VMWare Fusion) it exploits the Hyper-V capability of the Core2-Duo chip. Your pals in the server division know all about that - I believe that a Hyper-V version of Server 2008 is almost ready?

Yes - used it for a while - this is an order of magnitude more developed/better integrated/faster!
